My name is Hannah Rosenberg and I have worked in the apparel industry for the past fifteen years. I initially chose the apparel profession because I wanted to be creative and work with my hands. There was some of that, but like any industry there was a lot of details, number crunching, and always the multiple fires that needed to be put out that overshadowed the "good parts." My ability to be creative got squeezed into after hours, on the weekends and often became non existent due to long work hours. Now as I am older and hopefully wiser, I am pursuing the things that give me the most happiness, namely I am making a great effort to create consistently and not let the little things in life get in the way.
I have worked in all kinds different media over the course of many years, wood, watercolors, oils, metal, fabric.. just to name a few. I want to try everything. I am documenting my own personal history in the endeavor, and will hopefully switch to be more of a sustainable artist, and less of a workaholic. I will show the process, the good and bad. Mostly I just want to keep learning, keep experimenting, and keep creating.
Let's see what happens.
